By purchasing a ticket or making a reservation the guest agrees to the Terms and Conditions below. Guest are responsible for reading full descriptions and terms of every event. Block Island Ghost Tours is not responsible for guest who fail to read or misread these terms.

Q: What is the Cancellation Policy?

Cancellation must occur 48 hours prior to tour start time. Tours booked withing 48 hours of the start time will not be refunded. The event may be rescheduled if openings are available. No-Shows will still be charged the full amount. All tours will take place rain or shine. Refunds will be given if the tour is cancelled by Block Island Ghost Tours for extreme weather or at the discretion of Block Island Ghost Tours.

Q: Can I bring my dog on a walking tour?

Yes! Well behaved leashed dogs are welcome on our walking tours only. Spirits with Spirits does not allow dogs as that tour enters public eating establishments. Ghost Ride Island Tours also cannot allow dogs due to space limitations in the van. However, assisting dogs are always welcome. If you need to bring an assisting dog on a van tour, please call us as space needs to be reserved.

Q: Can I bring my kids?

Kids are welcome on most tours and some events. Children of any age are welcome on the Old Harbor Walking Tour, New Harbor Walking Tour, and the Ghost Ride Island Tour. Discretion is advised! These are not stories about Casper, the friendly ghost. We touch on some pretty disturbing topics ranging from murder, cannabalism, mass casualties, etc. If you think your child will be ok hearing this, by all means, they are welcome. You are welcome to ask the tour guide for a heads up about certain topics before the tour begins, so that you can walk away during those stories, but we do not change our tour content based on our audience.

Please note: Spirits with Spirits is a 21+ only tour.

Q: Are the tours accessible?

The walking tours do cover about a mile of walking with multiple stops. There is not always somewhere to sit at the stops, so it is not encouraged for people who may have difficulty walking or standing for extended periods of time. However, all of the walking tours are wheelchair accessible. Van tours are also now available as an option. Many of our indoor events are in our store, which is on the second floor of Odd Fellows. Unfortunately, there is no elevator like most of Block Island, but we are happy to deliver online orders downstairs if we have any products you are looking to buy and cannot make it up the stairs. Translator apps are encouraged for anyone who does not speak English as a first language, we just ask that you do not save a recording. We are always happy to talk about any limitations and possible accommodations we can provide to make sure you have an enjoyable experience.

Q: Can I pregame for the events and tours?

Yes and no. We encourage you to have fun on your vacation. We understand there are many great bars and restaurants on the island and ample opportunities to day drink. However, we always have your safety in mind and want all of our guests to have a great experience on our tours. Specifically for the Spirits with Spirits tour, we encourage you to not drink before the tour. During this 2 and a half hour tour, you are being served up to 4 drinks. We want you to enjoy and remember the tour, not get sick! We reserve the right to ask any person or group of persons to leave for violating any of these policies or interfering with the enjoyment of others during our presentations. This includes behavior deemed disrespectful to our staff, such as heckling or intentional interrupting, as well as excessive intoxication. No refunds are given to persons removed from tours or events.

Q: What is the best way to book?

Booking online in advance is the best way to secure a spot and can be done anytime of day or night. You can also call us at 401-477-2979 or stop into our store on the second floor of Odd Fellows during our open hours. We encourage you to book tickets for the entire group as soon as you have decided to go on a tour. Spots are limited and we cannot guarantee availability for any length of time. Full payment is taken at the time of booking regardless of what booking method you use.

Q: How do I book a private event?

Call 401-477-2979 or email us at blockislandghosttours@gmail.com. Let us know what experience you are interested in booking, how many people you have, and when you want to have this event. We cannot guarantee all experiences will be available when you want, but we will do our best to accommodate special events and private parties.
